How does PAM2000 work with my existing hardware and software?
PAM2000 requires a PC that can be attached to your network. It then uses your existing schedule information to create unique patient messages. Our import utilities make it quick and easy to bring over these files. ATE offers computers manufactured by IBM® that come with a three (3) year warranty. The telephony board manufactured by Dialogic® Corporation comes with a lifetime warranty.

How many calls can PAM2000 make?
PAM2000 can store an unlimited number of patient names and can complete over 50 calls per hour, depending on how long your message is and how many patients answer the phone.

Can I tell PAM2000 when to start and stop calling?
Yes! You can tell PAM2000 when to START making calls and when to STOP making calls as well as the DATE to call. Each day of the week has a start and end time to call.

Can PAM2000 confirm patient appointments?
Our analysis of over 150 doctor's offices and millions of phone calls tells us that it is better to have the patient be reminded of an appointment that they have already made. If they wish to cancel or change the appointment, have the patient call the office to specifically make appointment changes. Other systems put the onus on the patient to verify an appointment that they have already agreed to, by pressing a key on their telephone. We would rather have them tell us that they are not coming, than tell us again that they are coming.

Do I need a dedicated computer to use PAM2000?
We prefer to provide a new IBM PC that we configure at our offices. We will use a PC that the customer supplies as long as it meets the minimum requirements. As this system is a multi-user system there can be other programs running while the PAM2000 system is making its phone calls.

Do I need a dedicated phone line to use PAM2000?
Yes! For best results it is better to have a dedicated phone line.

If PAM2000 reaches a busy or no answer will it call back?
Yes! It will continue to call until the STOP time or number of attempted calls has been reached.

What happens when PAM2000 gets an answering machine?
If an answering machine picks up PAM2000 will wait for the beep and then leave your message.

Why choose PAM2000 over other systems?
  1. uses state of the art hardware and software

  2. cost effective – payback period is in months

  3. professional – informs the patient in a professional manner about their appointment and lets them know that you care about their health

Will using PAM2000 affect software licensure or support with my practice management vendor?
NO! PAM2000 accepts input from your practice management system. PAM2000 interfaces with many major software vendors.
